Although the hotel had some cleanliness and comfort issues due to smells and maintenance problems, the stay was overall satisfactory with a good level of cleanliness and comfort. The staff was not entirely honest and displayed rude behavior, but they tried their best to assist with tours and tickets. The location, despite some challenges like homeless individuals around, was convenient for exploring Redding. The dining experience, while off-site, was good, especially the pastries. The hotel facilities were satisfactory overall.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The lady at the front desk was kind enough not to charge me a $500 deposit, but the room was disappointingly dirty with cobwebs everywhere. The presence of cockroaches and a musty, old smell added to the negative experience. The smoking odors in a non-smoking room was another issue that tainted the stay. On the upside, the central location was convenient for exploring the area on foot.

My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing. The rooms were filthy and run-down, with old and dingy furnishings. The towels were dirty, the bath tub was not clean, and the bed was uncomfortable. When I requested a different room, I was informed that they were fully booked, except for a more expensive suite that they were unwilling to rent out. Despite the potential, the cleanliness could definitely be improved.
